Once the screening was over, there was only one hour left before Kyo-no-Miyako closed down, so some of us stuck around to do some sightseeing.

I am realizing now just how different the glasses were back in the day.
For a time, I wasn't certain I'd wear them forever, but then I noticed they stopped reflecting light and my eyes could be seen clearly; at that point, removing them left my face looking blank.
