I miss spending my mornings outside but this isn’t so bad

I decided to start using this little desk for my offscreen time & hobbies instead of constantly fighting the distraction of my PC at my work desk, and wow it’s already made such a difference in my focus & screen time!

I wouldn’t trade being a morning person for anything. Also, I think I might need to read everything Shirley Jackson has ever written.

this is a note of appreciation for tiny stools. a plant stand, a resting place for a pile of books - it is one of my favorite items of decor. I go to yard sales specifically looking for them.

I love this book, even more after a second read. I rarely put down my pencil. I started out tabbing lines that I felt in my gut but had to stop because it was happening too often.
