Caernarfon Castle. Built in the 13th Century by Edward I. Couldn't be arsed going in as it was full, instead got accosted by a man trying to unload a "found child" onto me for some kind of TikTok japery.

Castle No.6 is Dinas Brân. Built in the 13th Century on the site of an Iron Age fort of about 600BC. Absolutely cream crackering hike to the top for this fat chimp, but the views are worth it.

In our quest to visit every Welsh border castle, we reach No. 5, Powis. Book shop was below average, but the dog count is high and they have cream teas. Also, deer.

Finally started on a new book today. Word count 112. Low number even for me, but I've been battling the worst case of task initiation paralysis I've ever had, that felt like a physical wall.
Told myself, just write 1 word, wrote 111 more. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Picked up the Vurt role-playing game book recently, and the illustrations are so good. Makes me lament the demise of the film. Something animated would have been incredible.
