One valid alternative to #solar power in space is #nuclear power. #Uranium enrichment is #expensive and #complex, but the almost endless #energy supplied is worth every cost. And don't worry about nuclear #waste, just eject it into #space and hope it never comes back.

Due to the large distance from the sun to the #asteroid belt, #solarpanels are quite ineffective. To supply your #colony, you will need huge #solar #parks. Since you only have so much #space on your asteroids, you will have to settle for #nuclear or #fusion #power plants eventually

You should never skip #legday, or any other day for that matter, in #space. The low #gravity causes the #muscles in the #human body to atrophy. Luckily, your residents can counteract this by working out in the #gym.

After some fruitless attempts at #optimizing the loading times of saved games, I finally made a massive #breakthrough!
Initially, a huge test #game took about 4mins to load. Using proper indexing and substrings instead of string concatenation, I got the loading time down to 36 seconds! 😱

The newest #update for Asteroid Colony includes an improved overview of the available #workforce on each #asteroid. It shows exactly how many residents you have, and how many are needed.
Just remember to disable automatic upgrades when you run out of pioneers!
