Also if you feel like you need to get permission to identify with a certain label, try not to. In 99% of the cases, identifying with that label enough to want to be it is enough to end up being it. For the longest I thought I wasn't trans because I had just never considered I was allowed to be!

What I'm trying to say is the way to find your identity is to find what makes you happiest first and put the pieces together after. Secondly you got to make sure you aren't choosing that identity for the way you hope it will make others see you. The only way for others to really see you is to be you

As I transitioned and became femme passing and totally confident in my femininity I realized there were some parts of that masculinity I liked but I pushed down out of the fear it would make other people uncomfortable or make me a "man" in women's spaces.
