D tier: first time i got an IV was at an ER visit and the only way it could've been worse was if they actively fucked something up. it hurt so bad and was in my right arm and everything. I didn't even end up needing it it was just a standard precaution. hurt more than the pain i went in for

making a tierlist of the times I've had an IV inserted.
A: #2. has set my expectations for what an IV is supposed to feel like. only problem was it was my right arm so i was manually incapacitated for about an hour.
C tier: right now. didn't hurt for the first 20 minutes, bonus points for left arm

looking at my veins rn i expect they'll be using my right arm and given my heavy right handedness it's about t minus 5 minutes to an hour of having no hands at all
