Healthy people drink w*ter, so I need to increase my hydration attempts 😮‍💨

Healthy people get adequate sleep (another thing I loathe) so I must be in bed 7 hours before my alarm will go off at the latest 😑 (I cheat and read jjk until I'm sleepy but it's helping)

These 3 get my mind in a place each day that says I'm taking care of myself and it makes me more conscious to keep making good decisions all day long

Just as examples. Hope this discussion is helpful 💜

Think small! Fitness involves soo much

My big ones have been:
🪼 drink the gross water. Just do it
(I loathe water) tracked in MyFitnessPal app. And if I have coffee I HAVE to have equal amounts w*ter
🪼 be active when consuming content
(I binge my YT on the elliptical)
🪼 am/pm skin routine

Are there goals you have? You could tie them to small behaviors or routines to start or improve on each day

We can figure it out!

instead. Motivation will ALWAYS come and go.

I've dedicated the last year to really honing in to understand my daily habits and improve upon them. Small increments truly truly add up

Each behavior seems so small when you have so far to go but this mind shift has been a life saver for me 💜

The pain has definitely improved! I believe the surgery was a success. Now I have to limber up and get stronger 💪 being nearly immobile for 8 months really left me exhausted

If I've learned anything over the last decade it's that I cannot rely on motivation. I have to work on systems and routines

I had a 7mm disc herniation by the time I got the MRI to sort things out 😮‍💨

I'm sure it's going to be a slow process but I'm trying to be optimistic that this is the time my efforts pay off withOUT further injury!

It's so hard to leave the no-pain-no-gain mentality and take things slow ⚰️

Not an expert, but very knowledgeable! Happy to share my best practices and motivations that keep me mentally sound during this journey.

And I couldn't have done it without BTS. I mean that from the depths of my being.

Temp pinned info/background:

Been morbidly obese for 2 decades, prevented from substantial health gains due to frequent injuries.

I've gotten most of my roadblocks sorted out including spine surgery back in July! Now I'm down 15 pounds with healthy behaviors.
