"Don't do that." He sharply said, eyes narrowing as he glanced back at her.

"Never apologize for being happy. Or excited. I don't like that." He trailed off for a moment

Digits gently tapped across the tome's own leather as he gave a small cough and cleared his throat.

"Ahem." Followed by him gently raising the book and giving it a small shake/signal of 'Is it this one?', eyebrow cocked.

He hummed softly, head cocking with the faintest of smirks behind his cloth mask, before gently patting the top of her head.

"Pointy end at the bad people. Blood magic is fun." He quickly stated, granted that was just, an obvious statement but better safe than sorry.

Hes dealt with this before. . . He knows what to do.

Though the faintest shifts of pursed lips beneath the fabric did at least help decipher some of his reactions.
