Jack is more-so associated with cherry blossoms now! The slogan his agency wrote for his idol persona was something along the lines of “a cherry blossom in the wind, flown from Japan”—objectifying and orientalist! They stole a symbol of his culture and resold it!

The catch is that he’d eventually be turned into a fictional character! He’d be sensationalized, the palatable parts of him permeated; he, as an idol, would be deified; and he’d stop existing in the real world as a person, now an intellectual property of his stepfather’s entertainment company!
Everything’s the same, really; there’s just one thing I changed—after Jack’s stepfather stole him and his mother to America, he offered him a contract kinda like the one Kyubey offered Madoka! From then on, he juggles singing, schoolwork, and monster slaying! And, on top of everything, add Elijah!
Now, he may or may not (have) be(en) a magical boy. (｡･･｡)

I just think it’d be more interesting if she had a fixation on true crime instead of gothic fiction; that’d further contrast Moonsu’s obsession with youth and fantasy!
