I’m sure I heard something about a plan for a new station south of the city centre too - between Central and Brunswick to serve the Baltic Triangle area

Moorfields -> Sandhills is just under 1.5 miles as the crow flies. There’s waste ground used as a car park alongside the rail line about halfway where Pall Mall becomes Love Lane. To my uninformed eyes it looks like a no-brainer tbh

If the stadium was the only thing happening you could argue a new station which is only used heavily at most once a week is a waste. But Moorfields & Sandhills don’t have the capacity to support the retail, offices, & housing planned for that area in addition to their existing usage

I’m sure one between Moorfields and Sandhills has been suggested. Not sure if there have been any firm plans, but it will definitely be needed if the wider Liverpool Waters scheme is going to work…

FA Cup game v Bournemouth will be in the Park End.

The last ever league Merseyside Derby - we will be in the Gwladys Street & we will need a minimum of 100 volunteers for this one. This will be our biggest display yet.

Don’t quote me, but I *think* if the potential red is for denying a clear goal chance, the award of a penalty means the chance has not been denied. The same offence outside the box could be a red. Inside it’s only red if it’s violent conduct or something.
