Remember seeing this on UK tv in the early 80s as part of the Rock in the Seventies series, superb stuff.

Hopefully had a good away weekend in Blackpool in 2017 but that was winning at Fleetwood…

Title track is superb however overall the album isn’t near the standard of the first two and can see why Ronnie made a line up change after this one.

Never recovered after the poor Euros in Sweden and injuries to key players undermined the qualification campaign for the World Cup. Didn’t deserve the stick from the press.

The two Heep albums Bob played on in 1982 & 83 are superb so this is certainly interesting.

If you have a 19 goal season striker you don’t sell if you’re serious about chasing promotion.

Superb talent, Bolton’s player of the year in 2023 and he won his first medal here. Problem we’ve had since then is finding someone anywhere near that standard.

Also the date of the 1-1 play off draw with Barnsley in 2023 another bad day at the office…

Particularly as there is no Light in the Black or Gates of Babylon in there…

First thing Rioch did was change the goalkeeper so let’s hope he has someone in mind who is as good as Brannigan.

The key will be pre season and how the manager thinks he can fit in to the likely starting side for August.

We are back in the summer of 1992 hopefully we make the same quality signings as we made back then.

Superb album last studio one with Bernie, Gillan were massive in the UK.

Why would he leave Newcastle for a team lower in the table who are probably not going to be in the Champions League next season?
April 17, 2025 at 5:53 AM
A classic….interesting however that within two years Ronnie was in Sabbath and Bob Daisley was working with Ozzy…

Title track is superb but otherwise an average album.
March 29, 2025 at 12:30 PM
If Newcastle finish in the top five he won’t be going anywhere.

Forget Millwall & Palace, Preston have just scored a cracker in the Lancashire derby…
March 1, 2025 at 12:48 PM
Imagine being the Detroit Lions who finished ahead of the Eagles in the regular season and knowing the Super Bowl could have been theirs if they had turned up in the playoffs.

Cracking match
February 3, 2025 at 11:28 PM
David Wagner is certainly worth a look…

Looks like the dilemma for the board is whether to spend in what remains of the window or pay the Manager’s contract up . Only problem with the latter is there will be more candidates at the end of the season.
