Turns out pharmacy can't get that either, and they now have two outstanding scripts for me - no wonder I ran out!!

They told me they had the generic form, so GP made an urgent script - I now have meds.

So glad pharmacy and GP surgery are opposite our house! I've been across 3 times today.

By 2024 they just kept letting it get reinfected with zero active monitoring - hence why it burst 5 times in 3 months 🙄

And yet the NHS stance is, "removal is purely cosmetic, we won't fund it, because infections are rare".

I may just have to figure out how to fund it privately at this rate.

But *ugh* I could do without this. Think I need to chase up that funding request 🙄 given I had to fight so hard for it in the first place.

Seriously, I had a cyst get infected and burst in 2013. They actually packed the wound and monitored it and got on top of reinfection quickly back then.

Over the past month another cyst (very close to the one that got infected last year) has hurt on and off. It's got worse today & I feel very ill. @theajane.bsky.social said it looks very odd and lumpy.

Thankfully I have some antibiotics left, so can take one tonight and speak to GP this week.

Saw derm in Jan 25, who agreed to remove 4 of my 9 cysts. But because it was in a different NHS trust it had to go through a funding request. And it seemed to stall.

I then had so many other medical appts this year that I kind of forgot about it, as it seemed to settle down.

And now I'm watching this... anyone recognise it?

I need more recs of older Christmas movies. Because after this and It's A Wonderful Life, I'll have run out. And I do love these older ones 🥰

3) really solid cardboard ones with Santa and his elves packing up the sleigh. They were surrounded by snow and trees with decorated gingerbread stars and cookies hanging from the branches.

2) a really tall one with an illustrated scene of a castle tower with tkns of mice characters dressed in medieval clothing (ckmplete with hennins)
