i like to think so too. that most people even if they never really think about art and why it matters, understand intuitively when faced with something thats inherently soulless and has nothing to say and will eventually grow bored of it when the novelty wears off

this has happened to me even at a place i previously worked at. its demoralizing, to say the least :')
