Favourite Metaphor moments so far are whenever you share the novel the protagonist reads with a party member and they go “Huh? *Voting* to elect the country’s sovereign?” I say this with no irony it’s wonderful to see how our own systems would seem so alien to others.

Maybe AI is going to ruin a lot of people’s lives but it will at least also ruin Consulting Firms and I think that’s an upgrade. Even after having applied once, I still don’t understand what Deloitte is actually supposed to do.

After playing Metaphor ReFantazio for about an hour (20 minutes of which was just reading the in-game glossary to catch up with the story since I’m coming back to a months-old save) I can safely conclude that Atlus might have accidentally made a Square Enix game.

The wheel grows ever thinner. SMTV V was a pretty good game overall, certainly better than Vanilla SMT V in terms of story and some simple QOL changes like being able to save anywhere and the magatsu rails. But I'm expecting something other than an JRPG for the next-
