I know…. The whole time I was thinking the next time I see it, it will be smaller. It’s truly sad that we are losing the glaciers. They’ve been there for thousands of years and they are just disappearing. I went to glacier national park 2 years ago. The glaciers there also shrunk significantly

When everything was covered in snow and just looked white, the perspective became deceptive. I thought the glacier would be 30 minutes away, but we ended up walking 1.5 hour to reach the other side. The glacier was way bigger than how it looked from distance. It was giant!

Thank you! That hike was deceptive. Every time we thought we were getting close, turned out it was still far away!
