Generously, I would maybe say they’re both trying to explain why the people in the anecdote would think like that. It is funny that in a discussion on shutting up & listening they both speak for the people in the anecdote though.

I think this is a great idea Paul, what was the reaction like? Agency for nature is going to be so important, but my impression is that these types of proceedings/processes are poorly suited to granting it (particularly when agency for humans is often lacking)?
