Was startled to see that date on a re-read of "There Will Come Soft Rains" -Ray Bradbury (1950).

Would have seemed an impossibly far-off future to me as a child. Now here it is, a few calendar pages away.

I really enjoyed "The Queen of Saturn and the Prince in Exile" by @erricknunnally.bsky.social

The story and characters were intriguing and I liked the blending of real world and otherworldly elements. Fair warning, it is not all sweetness and light. But then, it wasn't meant to be.
