"die my love" is very fun! structurally very odd, scenes feel disconnected from each other and for a large chunk of the film it doesn't feel like there's a straightforward narrative here (in a good way). the imagery is self-evident, but good! has too many endings at the end sadly. good movie!

Superhero power scaling is dumb is because these are stories, and whether Thor can beat The Hulk depends on the story being told. Monster Hunter stories are very bare and minimal, so the reductiveness of power scaling isn't an issue when the story in question is just "monster fucks shit up".
