It should have been stopped, but if the ref blows for everything in seconds then there will be chaotic gamesmanship everywhere. That goal was our fault, not the refs.

I would hate LFC to have that ownership, and I think you’d see a lot of the fan base go the same way. Just not sure that extends to every kid in their early 20s trying to make their career. So I’m fine with Isak, but as I said each to their own.

I think this could be a sliding doors moment. Who knows who will be on our radar in Jan. Guehi isn’t generational like VVD. I’m 75% that he’ll never wear the LFC shirt.

So I guess the trophies won with Hendo, Firmino and Mane mean less to you now also. Each to their own, but this sounds like a tough standard to set in a sport so awash with money.

If we can have the Ibou who played v Arsenal, Joe stays fit and Leoni can chip in then all good. If Ibou is going to leave then he needs a good year to get the move he wants and make the World Cup.
