Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Really interesting to parse. Especially in the perceptions of Independents which are tracking more closely with those of Democrats. Wish we had the kind of alliance building that multi-party democracies have. We then might actually be able to the people's work done

PG&E is losing $$$ on two Northern California hydroelectric dams with years long plans to decommission them. No one has offered to buy them. Taking them out opens up steelhead & salmon runs, but does take farm water. The Trump USDA is trying to stop it while blaming Gov. Newsom who has no say.
