Dr. Jekyll (EU Product PR maestro @OnePlus) by day, Mr. Hyde shitposter by night.

If you want to talk about OnePlus, aske.kjaer@oneplus.com is a better bet. Also, obligatory note that I am here as myself, not as a representative of my employer.
Hot take: Tesla suffers from Silicon Valley Stock Syndrome. Because their primary customer is investors, not people buying cars, they must constantly be on the cusp of innovation - releasing their products risks them being bad. But something that's around the corner can have infinite potential.

Online discourse the last few days reminds me of another grook:

Den, som kun tager spøg for spøg
og alvor kun alvorligt,
han og hun har faktisk fattet begge dele dårligt.

(Those who take jokes just in jest,
and serious things just sincerely,
he and her have actually understood both poorly.)

Cats come in three sizes: smol, cat, chonk. That's it.

I work with a cat shelter and I always have to stop myself from writing weird shit in the papers. They use the same paperwork as for dogs, so under breed, I usually write "cat," "dumpster" or "?"

Having a high IQ doesn't mean you necessarily understand anything you haven't seen before.

You might be able to pick it up faster, but, I mean, Leonardo Da Vinci was significantly smarter than I am but I don't think he'd be able to file 2024 tax returns. There isn't really a shortcut to expertise.

They compensate for a lack of glass, but more importantly, the Gordian knot is size. Taking in enough light with a sensor that's so much smaller than a 35mm full frame requires what can only be described as witchcraft.

Honestly it's been insanely hard for me to stay mum on this one 👀 - very very happy with how it's turned out

Based and Doug Dimmsdale-hat coded. It may well go on for infinity. We don't have the scientific expertise to know.

Wait, US journalists can't use source protection as a legal defense? That's... not great

Chinese shitposting is on a different level.

The great firewall is not there to keep us away from them. It is there to keep us safe from them. We wouldn't last a second.

Google also attaches things on top of AOSP. Every OEM does - mostly because honestly using "bare" AOSP is kind of ass. Hell, AOSP doesn't even have Play Services iirc.

A fair few brands still allow unlocks without too much hassle, and some do it with unlock codes that may be more or less difficult to source.

It's to indicate that you've got a Bluetooth audio device connected, and that's the audio you're adjusting.
