the last two days I have been sparkling with productivity and joy, which is a very uncommon thing right before my period. turns out —you know how deadly sick people get an energy surge before they die? 😭

I've never been this unhappy with my opportunities. Is it because they can't make me happy, or is it because I had the perfect thing, and everything else is not the same?

Yeahhhhh there's a reason why I won't travel to the US, and it's the same reason why I won't travel to russia.

Consumer boycotts were very effective and played an important role in ending South Africa's Apartheid, if anyone is wondering why Elon is especially pissed about people not buying Tesla.

Sectarian disinformation from Iraq

… “They give me the posts, and I publish,” the social media user told DW. “I trust my leadership very much, and they are the ones who verify the news,” the person explained, adding they’re paid between $20 and $30 for their online posts.

another thing I just read: capitalism relies on people having children not only because they need workers for their infinite growth, but also because parents are easy to control. Parents can't afford to take risks and challenge the system in fear of repercussions.

my to do list is piling up with things that are so emotionally draining for my assumed audhd brain but the absolute worst is that my ex bf is still using our shared bank account like his personal credit card after over a f*ing year and there's nothing I can do about it.

Whenever a man shows you charts and graphs about how people with kids are happier than people without kids, ask him to show you the same data sliced by gender. Even if that man is me!🙂

Because considering men / women, and people with/without kids, the happiest demographics, is "women without kids"
This week I wrote a data-led case for having children

Whenever numbers enter this debate, they’re usually big scary ones (like £500,000, the cost of raising two). But can we quantify the benefits of having babies?

I've been taught to repress my feelings so much that once I was so mad and frustrated in an interaction that I developed my first and worst and only migraine in my life without losing calm for one second.
