I fully agree. Institutions, such as universities, always have to be held to account to serve the public good. This oversight has failed for a long time, and these revelations make it now impossible to look away from the moral abyss this failure has wrought.

What I found is that with any group that's about >5 people, there's almost always someone who annoys/triggers me. But I also know if that person were to leave, I'd find another person in the same group to be annoyed by (failing that, I'll step in to fill that role). Always a rich field of practice.

This may be apocryphal, but I think it was King Ashoka who set out to find the most unlikable man in his kingdom, and after he found him, made him his assistant. Exemplary trigger practice.
