Could defense attorney ask for new trial prior to verdict based on very negative conclusions about guilt from that other judge who was a prosecution witness?
I presume too late to ask for a mistrial based on that comment by that other judge?

• Before, Republicans held 36 of the 52 Senate seats, Democrats held 14, with two vacancies.

Lawrence-please post your excellent analysis of the CR compromise. Our Dem friends need to hear/see it. My (lonely) congrats to you and The Dem Five to allow us to “Live to fight another day.” It was only a matter of time until the public changed its mind about who’s to blame for the shutdown.

I watched Jim Acosta’s Substack with Michael Cohen. Acosta must have interrupted Cohen a dozen times. And then, after thinking about his response (rather than listening to Cohen), he interrupts and says Cohen is deluded when Cohen says he never personally witnessed the depravities.
