Great to know that human rights lawyer #LuSiwei has been released. His wife's younger sister and another friend waited outside the detention centre for ~1.5 hours. Later, they got Lu Siwei's call saying that he's taken to a "judicial centre" by some political security officers.

Just another sham trial as expected. Human rights lawyer #XieYang’s trial was held closed-door. On 28/7, during the pre-trial hearing, the court refused to let Xie Yang’s lawyer photocopy the legal bundles. On 30/7, the court pushed to hold the trial despite flaws in procedure.
