Today is the birthday of Fatima Sheikh, India’s first Muslim woman teacher. Born in 1831, Fatima Sheikh was a dedicated and revolutionary educator who taught children of all castes and religions. Her legacy lives on today as we continue to advance her mission to end patriarchy and caste apartheid!💙
