Ah... bathroom? Hard to say just from the picture. Facing a corner of the room. The tile of one wall has a more-or-less tasteful Japanese-style print of autumn leaves overlooking a river. The other wall is decorated with a... woman in a kimono, face half-covered by a fan, with the robe about ready to fall off her shoulders to reveal even more of her cleavage. Okay, it's not *that* bad, but it's the kind of thing a 14-year old weeb would doodle in their notebook, not something you'd want your houseguests to find. Or, maybe it is, I dunno, I'm not your mom.

Does this hallway get longer the longer you look at it, or is it just me?
A... hallway, in a very strange, very eclectic house. Predominant colors are red, yellow, and bone-white, making the hallway seem uncomfortable throat-like. There are design elements from at least five different regions and most of the last millennium, and none of it fits, which means it all *sort of* fits.

I got a little heated
A screenshot from Canva's recent customer survey. The question is from the survey, and the answer is my own. Q: "What things do you think AI could help streamline as a part of your creative process or what other thoughts do you have on AI?" A: "What could AI help "streamline" in my process? Not a single thing. Every instance of "streamlining" workflow only introduces parts of the process that the creator did not intend. Even if the creator finds it useful, it diminishes that work as a product of human creation, and if a company doesn't care about human creation, then they have no business selling "creative" products. Art is difficult, design takes training, and it is a struggle to create something new and bring it into the world. Creators are people who are willing to pay those prices, because the work itself is the reward, because the process is also a process by which we learn about the world and ourselves. Anyone who isn't willing to pay the price not only isn't a creator, by definition, but they're simply paying another, dumber price. I don't want AI anywhere near the things I choose to make, because *I* choose to make them. Companies like Canva need to consider why they got into the creative product market in the first place, and make a decision accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please do the right thing for your customers, and deprioritize or drop artificial generative tools from your products and services."

MUCH happier this go-round. The design is clearer, more appealing, and simple enough to conceivably animate.
