Genuinely enjoying cooking with/for friends, we each made a dish and came together for a super yummy dinner

The chess world with no context is so funny because right now they're bidding on a grandmaster's unwashed pants

I ran my first half marathon! You get treats if you run a half marathon! Like bananas! Yum!

It's the longest distance I've ever run and honestly it wasn't half bad, with all the people (and friends!) around you it feels energising and exciting to get through it all

The Game Awards was a dream actually, the event was beautiful (but also loud) and the people I got to meet were ones I never thought I'd actually meet IRL ever.
Super happy and thankful that I had a chance to experience it via the Future Class, each and every one of them was phenomenal

5. Lebanese! We've got the most beautiful mountains, seas, weather, and food. Loving Lebanon is very much a blessing and a curse that I can talk about for hours

Yippeee!

There's a potential ceasefire deal to be announced for Lebanon and the amount of bombs being dropped on our capital is way more than normal (never should've been normal) ... 20-30 warnings for evacuation, non stop killings, I worry about everyone constantly at this point

You should do the hoopoe! It's a super pretty bird and I'd love to see your take on it

#15 I think Spiderman Shattered Dimensions made me feel like I bought 4 games in 1 since I was able to play as multiple spidermen. Sure, other Spiderman games let me explore the cities, but this one let me time travel

#14 The fact that I still jump and spin around when someone fails a bowling shot the same way the Miis do in Wii sports automatically earns it a spot on my list. I would've loved to see the game make a comeback on the switch

#13 Everyone I've known has gotten a VR headset because of Beat Saber, but no one told me Pistol Whip would get me moving around so much more wildly that I'd wake up sore all over the next day. Dodging bullets and shooting enemies from all sides has never felt as good to me

#12 Audiosurf 2 felt like a fever dream. I could just upload a song and then some magic would happen and I'd be able to ride the waves of the music? Wild.

#11 I don't know if a game like Pocket God could exist in todays mobile market, but I've spent so many hours of my life just holding my iPod and throwing Pygmies into a volcano, causing earthquakes, fishing with them, bouncing coconuts on their heads, and just generally having a great time

#10 Downwell's gameplay instantly hooked me. I'm trying not to have too many roguelikes on my list, but this game's built different. It's a great game about going down a well and bouncing off and/or shooting enemies for a reason I promise is worth it

#9 Even though I really enjoyed the metroidvania Haiku the Robot, I loved the sequel, Rusty's Retirement, even more. The game lives at the bottom of your screen and you just take care of your farm and watch it do its lil thing. If you liked Cookie Clicker, this game will do you wonders

#8 Loddlenaut is one of the cutest games I've played in a very, very long time. It was the perfect length, and every time I was starting to get bored, it's as if the devs got a whiff of it and threw me another toy to play with. A wonderful little game about cleaning the ocean, go play it!

#7 Against all odds, I found a AAA game that I enjoyed from start to finish: Elden Ring. The exploration felt exciting, the enemies felt rightfully daunting, and every nook or cranny had something interesting and worth exploring. Also, big bonk good

#6 There are few games I remember as fondly as Jazz Jackrabbit. Maybe the Windows XP pinball? But it was a game I loved playing as a child, legs dangling off a chair, typing in jjfly or jjbird whenever I wanted to feel like a hacker (orrrr maybe make the level a tad bit easier)

#5 Liyla and the Shadows of War is one of the best examples of what it's like to live in an Apartheid state. The fact that the game was taken down from the mobile stores at one point is even more of a reason to play it. I'm really sad that it's still relevant today, 8+ years later

#4 I played Gris in one sitting, completely entranced by the art style, the music, and the forms of expressions used. I loved the calm playstyle, but even more, I enjoyed walking through the different stages of grief.

#3 Going into metroidvanias takes us to Hollow Knight, from the atmosphere in the City of Tears to the cute characters you meet along the way to the challenge of becoming a fool and getting across the Path of Pain, this game's a delight to play through

#2 Keeping up with the roguelikes, Balatro has become my newest comfort game. Be it because of the number go up strategy, the wonderful sound effects, or the excitement of winning against the odds, this game's grip on my sleepy hours is TIGHT

#1 starting off strong with the Binding of Isaac! This game's one that I can only seem to take extended breaks from, never actually putting it away forever, just...until later. I love the line of skill vs items that the game dances around along with how long a single run can last
