The Global Tobacco Industry Interference Index has been published today, with the UK now ranked 17 out of 100 countries.

The improved score for 2025 indicates the positive work towards protecting public health, but challenges remain.

ASH Scotland has signed a letter to support the No (Plastic) Filter campaign calling on Member States of the United Nations to ban all cigarette filters.

The letter is open to any organisation who wants to sign until 31 August 2025.
