Ooh very smart! We’ve had fireworks pretty much non-stop since around 9:30ish, but they have finally mostly petered out. Luckily, the noise doesn’t seem to bother Hersh!

Immunodubious is a great word!!! I’m not ✨officially✨ immunocompromised either, so I usually just describe my immune system as janky, but immunodubious sounds way cooler!

Oof, I hope she is okay, & doesn’t come back to work until she is feeling better. Every semester I have students with COVID, strep, mono, generic colds, etc. This semester we had a new one: walking pneumonia! Which can be contagious for weeks! I bet you can guess if that student masked upon return 🙃

That is so impressive! And also yes, good call on having the plumber do the tricky bits—paying for their expertise is worth it to avoid leaks!

Oh dang I never replied to your posts from before, sorry! No, I’m not going to be able to make it. 😔 Even if I could, I would miss seeing you because I’d have to be flying back to SC on Sunday for Monday classes.
