I am furious about many aspects of the technology, but right now I am most upset that gen AI has added needless burden to writing, something I enjoy doing and wish to do more of

When I do my comprehensive exams, I will need to focus not only on making the essays well but also ensuring there's no possible shadow of an inkling that I used gen AI to write them

I worried about this same thing when I wrote about KPDH last summer and I expect it will hang over every piece of writing I do for the forseeable future

the arguments are sloppy, there's a lot of waffling, and I left several important points implied rather than addressing them directly because I ran out of time to puzzle out the right language. but I'm ok with getting criticized about all of that as long as the writing passes as human
