It's good to have people you know you can go check every now and then for relevant news - like if I hear about something then I go read her blog. But following it is exhausting. I don't need minute by minute updates on every minor thing.

A startup that wants to actually survive a capitalist system cannot pay you equal to the value of your labor. It fundamentally is contradictory to creating a profit from someone else's labor.

Social democrats call themselves a middle between socialism and liberal capitalism.

Liberal capitalists call themselves the center between socialism and fascism (insert aristocratic mercantilism for 19th/early 20th century)

The list goes on, you get my point.

Yea, He (rightfully) got flack for it in the 50's. He married his 13 year old cousin.

Considering how awful ChatGPT is at doing even the most menial tasks I've asked of it, I can't imagine anyone who gains from using it both has a difficult job and is good at that job.

Also, war is won by death and destruction. Insisting the IDF retains defensive weapon systems isn't a benevolent 'no more innocents die' stance. It's ensuring Palestinians and neighboring states cannot retaliate meaningfully. It's ensuring only the IDF can sustain prolonged war.

Defunding the iron dome would limit the IDF's offensive capabilities by requiring more assets to be changed to defensive missions, and it would allow retaliating combatants the ability to fire more accurate and predictable weapon systems. It decreases death overall, not increases.
July 20, 2025 at 3:14 AM
It also further limits the ability for retaliating combatants to inflict sufficient damage to Israeli military targets. Which causes retaliatory attacks to be less organized and more indirect to increase the chance of failure in the iron domes guidance system, i.e saturation attacks.
July 20, 2025 at 3:14 AM
The iron dome is a defensive weapon system, yes. But it provides a layer of air defense that increases Israeli offensive capabilities. I.e they don't need as many aircraft for defensive purposes. Continued funding of the iron dome is a direct contribution to the IDF's offensive combat capabilities.

Stop getting upset at people who have principles and stick to them, and get upset at the candidates your party puts forward that refuse anything other than dying on hills no one wants to vote for. Voting for a republican in blue doesn't help anyone, it just delays the inevitable.
July 17, 2025 at 4:33 AM
brother you have zero intentions of looking at this other than "I'm right you're wrong", grow a backbone and refuse to elect a democratic candidate unless they actually change course. There's nothing else to be said. "Vote for the lesser (in your opinion) evil" isn't how democracies work.
July 17, 2025 at 4:30 AM
Terrifying prospect, but another country, a NATO ally nonetheless, setting a precedent that potential persecution is happening in America is at the very least a silver lining.
July 17, 2025 at 1:05 AM
No other functioning democracy on this planet, hell even other two party systems, do this silly "vOtE fOr tHe lEsSeR eViL." The point of a political party is to vote for the party that most represents your views, and Americans have shown they're sick of voting for Republicans in blue. Change policy.
July 16, 2025 at 9:38 PM
If Democrats aren't going to push for a pro trans and leftist agenda, then it makes zero difference for those voters on who's in power. Again, all these candidates could be was "we're not him", which isn't a stance or policy.
July 16, 2025 at 9:34 PM
This might be extremely hard for you but people not voting for either candidate was not a vote for trump lol.

Again, if you want votes, your political party needs to represent the needs of the votes you want. The Democrats aren't leftists, and they throw trans people under the bus.
July 16, 2025 at 9:34 PM
You people never learn lol. Don't expect votes from people you aren't representing. That's not how political parties work. Either change the policy and push for the stances of the people you want votes from or keep losing elections. "We're not them" isn't a platform that gets votes and never will be
July 16, 2025 at 11:14 AM
Americans are so clueless to how democracy works lol. You vote for a party that aligns with what you believe. If the only thing your party has is "we're not them", then your political party stands for absolutely nothing and shouldn't expect votes.

Actually change policy and you'll get votes.
