Harper Collins harlequin romance books are now using AI for translations 🤦‍♀️ I’m so tired of this capitalistic AI slop. Translations can change the entire understanding of a story and AI doesn’t get nuance. What the hell HC.

My 2026 bookish predictions:
* slow burn that actually burns is coming back. This is more me manifesting this into existence because I’m tired of marketing saying slow burn and they get together by chapter 5
* Digital horror will make a larger appearance, especially after the announcement…

Took my youngest to see Santa today. Parked a few stores down and there was amother Santa greeting people at the door of a different store🤦‍♀️ so I parked in a new spot and played a game where we couldn’t look too far ahead. Here’s to keeping the magic alive for another year!

Who could have predicted that with a secret police who hide their faces, don’t have to identify themselves or give out badge numbers, and kidnap people off the streets, that there would be men posing as ice agents to abduct attack and assault women. Shocker 🙄

Do NOT make the mistake in thinking that just because you do not personally use SNAP benefits that you won’t be negatively impacted. It will be detrimental to the economy. When the benefits go away so do billions of dollars in grocery spending. There’s not just the grocery stores struggling

Dialogue is plot. If it’s not moving the story forward or deepening your character, cut it.

Seeing George Stephanopoulos shut down Vance was a flawless finale to the week.

The growing amount of parents I’ve met that say they won’t pump their kids full of toxic vaccines, but have no problem pumping them full of toxic patriarchal right wing Christian nationalism is staggering.

Em-dashes and I are in a steady relationship and I will keep using them even if it means some thinking I used AI 🤷‍♀️ pry them from my cold dead fingers.

Getting ready to go on a quick vacation before school starts and my oldest decides it’s the perfect time to audition for The Exorcist 🤮 😭

I cannot with the Powerless fandom. First they accuse Victoria and now it’s Brigid. 💀 y’all need to do the smallest amount of research before flinging accusations

I just discovered the 90s show Decorating Cents. All the millennials being drawn to grey makes so much sense now.

I’d really like to attend a writers conference, but networking is like my 8th circle of hell.

I’m a simple Sundays kind of girl. I want to be fed and forage for books. The only decision I want to make is what flavor my iced coffee is each morning.

This is great because we all know how underrepresented men have been in this industry. The societal expectations that have limited their opportunities. The sexism, stereotypes and lack of fair compensation that has plagued male writers for decades 🙄

Scratch a Tesla = straight to jail
Leak war plans = crickets
But relax guys. They got rid of the real problem - DEI. That way completely qualified individuals like Hegseth can get hired 🙃

Democrats arn’t vouching for violence. We’re vindicating the law. I do my best to get my news from various sources, even ones I disagree with, but damn.

A 5k incentive wouldn’t have even made a dent in my preemies hospital bill. Oh and classes on something I’ve been tracking since I was 13, from the same people who think you can re-implant an ectopic pregnancy- yeah I don’t think so.

Readers, you can’t vote for Trump and then demand community from the very people your vote disenfranchises. Y’all are really out here demanding inclusiveness while simultaneously being one of the most exclusionary groups of people.

You gotta love Dr. Emily Rath setting boundaries about her space and her fandoms and republicans crashing out about it, meanwhile the guy they voted for is actively defunding the library.
