Yes! Lets fix services and improve client experiences. The Biden admin invested more energy in that than any prior president. But that is not driving public beliefs about government for the most part, and many stakeholders are not clients (e.g. older ppl hearing about how crazy schools are on Fox)

Thinking about the collective rational public is crucial to come up with solutions for our democratic renewal, whereas today’s tendency to despair @ illogical anecdotes and believe voters thus deserve bad outcomes they voted for is cynical, lazy, & anti-democratic #bigstructuralchange

Democracy works because the public is rational in the *collective* but we need to think about information this way too — not individual fact checking but building better collective environments, eg not through oligarchs
