My goals this year were to land more auditions, build my show reel & resume, and to hopefully book at least a job or two. Since January, I’ve booked 3 & have a few pending callbacks I’m hoping to hear back from soon. Believe in yourself & don’t give up on your dreams. #actor #acting #audition

On a film set, I was asked by a DP, “What is your goal here? Fame and fortune?”
I answered, “not at all.”
He scoffed and said, “then why the hell are you here?”

I’m here with a love and passion for acting.

This is me, disheartened, yet moving forward. Focus on the passion and art of it.

I had an audition tonight. Two very long scenes with a French accent. I almost talked myself out of it, but one thing I’ve learned about myself is that when I feel discouraged, I push myself even harder. So, even if I don’t hear back, I accomplished a lot tonight and there’s much to be proud of.
