Opened a favourite book from my shelf and this guy crawled out. The book is about insects, or “lesser living creatures,” so I’m pretty sure the spider is a paid actor :)

If you’re near DC, I highly recommend seeing “A Room in the Castle” at the Folger Theatre. It’s a truly fantastic adaptation about the women in Hamlet 💛

Planning a research trip to DC, and learned that Spike is now at the National Zoo! Possibly more exciting than visiting the Folger. It’ll be my first time seeing him in 12 years 🐘

Had an incredible time immersed in Shakespeare over the last several days. We had a forum, symposium, and staged play reading. These are from the Friday night forum, with Emma Smith, Linc Kesler, and Aaron Pratt!
