I think the school board will blame the student by banning cell phones (and exempting teachers and staff from the ban :P ) instead of banning abuse by teachers and staff. This is exactly why school cell phone bans are so dangerous--right here.

I should've posted this yesterday... My State (Minnesota) just got wildfire smoke and I was looking for a good anti-Big Oil meme!

The elephant in the classroom is that school was never designed to produce an educated population of critical thinkers--it was designed to produce compliant factory workers. Defund it unless you are willing to give children--not parents--choices for how they prefer to be educated.

Hoping and praying that the parents realize that they aren't getting their child an education by dragging him to school--they're getting him "disciplined" (Always a euphemism for abuse).

Angie, what is going on with you--none of your town halls are in the south metro! Non of them are even in your own district!
