Parenting update: my five-year-old’s art era is focused on ‘people waiting for the bathroom.’ The realism is stunning.

My 5-year-old is obsessed with The Simpsons right now, and I love that 3D printing lets me make things like this for her. Everything in this scene, the couch, TV, walls, came off my printer. The only non-printed parts are the figurines.

Thanks for the help, friends. I put on the first outfit & took a lap around the casino to see if I could survive the night in those boots. I regret to inform you I could not. So I went with outfit #2, and I’m glad I did, because even in that one, my feet were killing me by the end. It was worth it!

We’ve been married for six years, but I’m counting this as our honeymoon, because we didn’t get one of those either.

I woke up at a reasonable hour, ate adult foods, had many, many pool drinks, and took in the scenery. We also got incredibly sunburned because we live in Seattle and haven’t seen the sun in 300 days. 😅
