My games and trip to PHL were rough (as hell) but I got some of my fav cards in the game signed. Federico Musetti, Tomasz Jedruszek, and Isuardi Therianto brought these subjects to life with their art. Their work has been part of every important game of FaB I’ve played and I’m thankful.

So since we’re sending off blitz this skirmish season, I wanted to play a deck that is extremely fun but won’t be possible in SAGE since regrettably, its hero is majestic. I’ll give you 12 hints. ^_^

I think that being aggressively optimistic and trying to learn without properly expressing frustration could be a bad thing. Putting words to it is useful, to vent fundamentally and to benefit from it once I’m ready to be productive about it. But I have to feel it first. Meme came to mind.

Ditto is absolutely purple. I think a lot of folks saying Ditto is pink are thinking of the sprite from Gen 3 where, to be fair, it was pink, but that’s the only generation it was pink in. Side note, Ditto is a handsome lil guy no matter the gen :)

Got a new deck box to house Vynnset, my favorite deck in FaB. This game has meant a lot to me and it felt right to do something like this for the most fun deck I’ve played across any game.

Here's a close-up on the Commissioners Cup ball from Wilson's site. The difference in pebbling size seems much less pronounced on the close-up but I feel like it's still somewhat visible. I could be completely wrong, and it could be a bias based on variation in the pattern, but I thought it was cool

Okay this is interesting to me. The commentators for LVA-SEA talked about the players' mention that the Cup game balls were slicker/harder to handle and the turnovers seemed to corroborate. Pebbling looks small on the panels vs channels. The official game ball seems to have more consistent pebbling.

It’s a dangerous format
I’m exhausted and trying hard to take care of myself. In doing so I made chocolate banana bread w/ a recipe that was packaged with a tape from a noise artist that I bought recently. I put the foil on too tight and it smushed the chocolate but it tasted good.

If you want more femme/queer artists: Women of Noise is run by Leperwitch. The platform exists to support and uplift women in the space and genre and I’ve learned so much from their feeds. Tumblr and Discord are the platforms I follow them on. Check their bandcamp for compilations for charity.

If you want another queer artist: Uboa is one of the most consistent noise acts I’m familiar with. Her work has definitely floated up to more popular appeal and it’s well deserved. She uses abrasive, digital landscapes and cutting lyrics to explore queer life.

If you want similarly religious subject matter: I recommend Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter. Her older work helped me face parts of my religious upbringing and she transitioned into a new part of her life at the same time I did. It felt like I healed alongside her work. It’s very important to me.

This reminds me of the trivia from Crisis Core that provides the canon info that Sephiroth uses one full bottle of shampoo and conditioner each time he washes his hair.

I have all of the patches with adhesive backing and cut out how I want them. I’ll probably sew the small ones by hand but have been planning to use a sewing machine on the back since my old back patch is wearing through (it’s been through some things lol). Will likely handle it tomorrow.
