According to leaks, the game's budget was like, 12million. Which is just insulting low for the biggest franchise in the world and tells you at least what the higher ups view the fanbase as.

I think there's some passionate hard working devs on the team, but Pokemon can and should do better.

I don't think the game has to be gorgeous next gen ultra graphics, and gameplay and graphics definitely aren't 100% connected, but I think as an overall delivery, a tangible lack of care can still be present. It definitely didn't get the time or budget a game from a company this big should have
