I was editing someone's novel lately and SO much of it was me saying the dialogue sounded too much like therapy speak to be natural. Maybe the problem is me.

I like it a lot in theory (and I'm a big fan of the kind of classic animation that it hearkens back to), but it's just too friggin hard for me.
