Honestly, really boring day. Buc-ee’s and this leaning water tower were the highlights, but man does it feel good to see grass and trees. The smell of forests, the meandering highways, wayyyyy better than the west coast

Passed by the Petroglyph National Monument and saw these beauties in Boca Negra Canyon! The whole monument had like 500+ petroglyphs, which is so cool they preserved them so well. Ended the day in a big ass Texas steak house

Got to hike down the South Kaibab Trail on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! And in classic Ashford fashion, my dumbass thought it was looped back. 5 miles, 3,500ft down, had the realization that it does not go in a loop. Still, amazing hike, 10/10
