I get what you're saying too. But you simply aren't going to win over this county with that argument. The bottom line is Dems have to win, and like it or not trans athletes is not something that motivates the vast majority of people. Hell, abortion didn't. It's just reality. Tactics must change.

But that's the thing: Dems have to be smart enough to win elections first, and it's possible to do that and still stand up for basic human rights and dignity. It's not possible the other way around. Patting yourself on the back for sitting on a moral high horse while you lose over and over is insane
