I’ve been dealing with a pain flare & heaviness of the last 3 weeks. Tonight I enjoyed the slow life by taking my time cooking. Capitalism wants us to ignore our needs, Accomplish More, to hustle. It’s radical to resist, to care for ourselves, to slow down & enjoy the process, to be present.

Back from my first time as safety at a march. I am realizing that after volunteering like this I find that I’m still satisfied but I’m not as amped up. Instead of feeling ready to fight I feel like I just came home from the fight. Both, I think, are necessary experiences in doing the work.

Really glad I watched this.
Especially with Leonard Peltier’s newfound clemency.
