It bothers me when beta readers feel the need to highlight the text when they notice a character is trans or gay and pat you on the back for it. No Becky, a grumpy disabled 50 y/o trans man is not "super marketable" right now. If I had any self-control, he'd be cis. I just can't help myself ✌️🏳️🌈

So they finally officially canceled the in-development ACOTAR tv show. Imagine being so hard to work with that you sabotage your own tv adaptation. You got every author's dream, and then just threw it away

I just went to my second DSA meeting, and I got assigned to help a local council member do their duties! 🤩 Not really sure what that's gonna look like, but I guess I'm starting my career in local politics #dsa

Murdering a CEO is NOT based because so long as it's legal to get rich off of ruining people with medical debt, it's a CEO's fiduciary responsibility to do it.
So what I'm saying is, only political change can fix this system, not vigilantes.

I and my husband's relationship took ten years to build, but our wedding ceremony took only two minutes outside of the local detention center today.

I find it so hard to sympathize with people who's top concern is being seen as "trans enough", because when the world does see you as trans, it treats you like shit. We spend so much energy and money trying to be less visible just to survive.
