Pretty much, tho I sometimes wish the extra precision damage applied also for combination weapons but I am just a lil greedy lmao, the 1h finesse combination weapons are lacking a bit.

The rapier pistol deals a D4 for damage, even if it has the deadly d8 trait it's kind of rough

i feel you so much, certainly more spells is always tempting and even more, kind of frustrating to have a cool idea at the end of an adventure, my first character was kind of a mess because the campaign just just kinda fighting against the kind of character sadly.

so i took pistol phenom, because man, she has a cool heavy revolver and a gunblade, both count as one handed guns so phenom feats apply, gunpowder gauntlet, hot foot and so on are amazing feats to take for it, or even the commander dedication for cool tactics that even allow her to bypass reactives

and well, Magus is of course a very powerful class, tho i beg to any god or demon to release a rework pretty please since it has some kind of iffy stuff, starlit span specifically has kind of bad exclusive feats so you can freely pick a dedication or two instead of taking bland feats

oh right, her race lol, she's a Vishkanya half Ifrit, hence having scales on fire, kinda not optimal since vishkanya is a bit meh but it's very flavorful, the ifrit part is certainly much more useful and...yeah she may keep her spellbook full of fire based spells, come on gotta commit to the bit

she's the general and so i gave her Warfare lore, and corresponding skill and general feats to use warfare for initiative, so she goes first, use her drifter initial deed to close the gap and strike hard, or just spellstrike with the revolver, spellstrikes are neat

other points would go to constitution and charisma once dex is already +5 and str is at least +4 (to use the large bore modifications in the revolver)

highborn snoop as background so for skills she has high society, arcana, thievery, since this is kingmaker she has a job in the goverment

EHEM, for clarity's sake, in this particular campaign we use a few variant rules such as dual class which is the one pertinent to the build itself.

high dex, high str, third stat is int

yeah, the book was out after our game started so i was already deep in the two weapon combo, i could not change stuff too much, the single action revolver and a triggerbrand (since the errata let the gunslinger use combination weapons with their gun prof advancement) in the other hand is amazing

But I am absolutely using it on a next character, since the melee fusion trait is awesome and gives non gunslingers more utility for gunblades or combination weapons anyway.

I absolutely agree, ever since I started in PF2, I yearned for something like that, sadly I couldn't use it RAW since the revolver blade on my gunslinger (trust me I thought about it) since it's a 2 handed non finnese (i think) and melee fusion, Since Silene is a drifter she uses a revolver and TB
