letterboxed review (written in alt)
"A quiet storm of emotions" is such a perfect summary of the movie. The little value placed on teachers in our society is a genuine crime against humanity; the hope they have for every ignorant human would light the whole world up if believed in and worked towards by the rest of world. Working around many different and various troubles and mental illnesses in children because they are still a part of society and can be the bright, active, innovative, and developer individuals would be the best thing we can work towards for an ever growing community. The message is loud and clear, the acting is -as expected- flawless and engaging, and the direction in general is great. Now that I've finished the movie (spoiler free) the poster is such a good work. Unexpected to have any meaning until you're done with it.

Googling how to not cry so hard rn. So incredibly confusing but it vaguely pieces itself together at the end, which is all done on purpose and they did a great job with it. I wish she could end up with Alice.. I’m so sad. Lastly, RIP Chisa.

I'm happy the movie turned out good for watching with my younger siblings as a last bonding attempt before I go
Enjoyed a lot especially with siblings. The comedic bits made it all the better especially amidst horror that had a good idea without relying on cheap jump scares, gore or loud sounds, which kept us engaged with the movie throughout all of it. I love Rod man he's the friend we all need

Rating 2.5/5 The story is really great, and is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. The half is for costume and props, I absolutely love any movie despite it's genre when it's around a colorful, circus-like show or gameshow. However the acting wasn't great, the script was so corny, and the amount of times they could've killed him when he'd get so close to them made the whole captive situation feel pointless; no suspense or anxiety. This whole thing had amazing potential but fell in execution. However much I loved the story I have one thing to complain about. The scenario of faking being assaulted for a gain absolutely happens and is real; it ends lives permanently and leaves room for heavy guilt to accompany any humane liar who faked the assault story, but the way they tried to make us sympathize with him by showing us his entire story in one go after everything he did instead of splitting his story throughout or showing us the gist of it from the beginning felt like trying to justify demonizing actual assault victims.. This may be personal but it didn't sit well with me throughout the ending. I did like Jackie Earle Haley's acting though. Somebody called this a Saw knock-off and that's exactly what I called it when we were watching.

Made me cry. Short asf but it's so pretty and heartbreaking. They elaborated on 4 of the girls' romance but I was really interested in a third pair they introduced but never elaborated on. Super bittersweet but happy ending

Yuri, Very short I even hesitated putting it here but I will anyway. I always love the "closed open world" setting, like boarding schools. Feels nostalgic and bittersweet. This one is beautiful and really sad, just how I like it
