Also, the last house I stopped at was a friend of mine on my street, and not only did she give me candy, she gave me booze. We sat on her front stoop drinking our mixed drinks giggling and laughing. It was great. 100% do recommend.

During the pandemic, I was feeling kind of depressed, so for Halloween I put on a costume with a face mask so people wouldn’t be able to tell that I was in my 40s as easily, and I went trick-or-treating. It was amazing! I came home with enough candy to last me for the year.
