The straws they provide are very small but I have used a few thicker ones. And the sipmask hole you could do with any nail scissors/small scissors.

Probably a silly idea - I saw someone put a sipmask in an elastomeric and I wondered - I’ve had the oxygen through the thin tubes which could maybe go thru a sipmask somehow?

We’ve used sip masks (the valve things) very successfully so far, basically just to stay hydrated but combined with protein shake/meal shake on the longest flight. It worked really well with all the other sprays etc too.

Do you know if Mexico gets novavax? We have come to the US before to get it - but US travel is too scary now, even if there was stock.

Thank you Kelly. I lost some friends doing a few interviews on long covid esp in schools. I love your writing and this thread resonated, I’m so glad you continued to share and fight!

It’s so sad how many have had to abort courses and leave the profession permanently - most I know who’ve gone back have lasted less than a term. Now with online tutoring I’m reclined so it’s much easier to manage. The horse was quite annoyed I didn’t feed him quickly :)

When I still taught, I had to lie down fast once just after high schoolers left for lunch. Was stuck half under my desk for almost the whole lunch trying to avoid fainting. Sitting in a horse stable with an annoyed horse was my least safe location.

Unbelievable, still ticking the old vacc when even the new one is not ideal.

Sorry if this is silly! I know a commentator talked about Joscelyn training elite alongside ncaa…do you think she will try for worlds?

That’s so horrible, poor Chase.

QLD is a bit like Florida (cyclone risk, storm surge and river flooding) plus bushfire risk. Also heatwaves were getting brutal and a health cond made the heat an issue. Much infrastructure near sea level too in Aus.

We’ve moved to NZ from Aus. Friends have moved from US. Some professions can immigrate here relatively easily. Current gov not good.

Not a chemical differences/mechanism info but I’ve tried both - enovid feels like an intense decongestant (can’t imagine much surviving-have used for flights, dentist etc) viraleze for me made my nose bleed but felt more gentle. Husband and mother both use either. I use carrageenan when less risk.

I think the majority are not even testing now. I’m aware of many that have a covid positive student who attends, they then get sick and still call it a “cold” which they work through. Also many who tested positive but keep teaching unmasked for the whole sickness.
