UPS has got to be making so much $$ on the Amazon returns. The store in my neighborhood is understaffed and always busy. I'm sure the extremely patient people who work aren't able to take all the breaks they are supposed to get.

In my family Maushi, Mama, Kaka, and Atya refer to parents' cousins, not just siblings. Words for siblings are also used for cousins. I think this is quite common around the world in many languages. A lot of languages don't have terms for "second cousin" or "once removed."

In my family (South Asian heritage) we consider cousins of our parents aunt and uncle. I call my mom’s cousins Maushi (mother’s sister) and Mama (mother’s brother). My siblings and cousins call me Akka which means eldest sister. I am not even sure if we have a word for cousin distinct from sibling.
